ISPS - 3/2/2014
3/1/204 - Fort Lauderdale, FL

Nothing but beautiful sunny skies, great softball and good clean fun at the 2014 ISPS Winter World Championships.  Early morning Bat Testing was in effect with a total of 12 bats per team checked.  Everything ran smooth as Florida State Director Gabe Caride checked team equipment with the new bat compression testing maching that was on-site.  Many positive comments about the procedure and fact that there was a tester at the event.  Tournament started around 9am with Duo Umpires on each field.  Special thanks to Norlayn, Sweet, Jesus, Steve & Stacey for running a very smooth and clean day.

Knuckles Deep was definitely the early day favorite as they jumped to a quick 2-0 start with an average of 18 runs in each game.  But then they met with HIT_MEN who came in fresh with the late game-time and they stayed fresh all day winning the tournament with a 4-0 record.  But don't think it was an easy task for HIT_MEN, they had very close games including 17-13 win over Knuckles Deep and a VERY close game over GO HARD in the Winner's Bracket Finals with a final score of 4-3.

HIT_MEN had to beat a great team in HAS BEENS who had a long day battling back with 3 straight wins in the loser's bracket just to get to the finals.

In the end, it was a good tournament with very even competition all around.

In the middle of the day we presented Teams BLACKOUT & EASYWAY with their 2013 WORLD CHAMPION RINGS...... visit our social media accounts for more pictures on that.
